With Ramadan 29 expected to fall on Tuesday May 11, the Eid Al-Fitr holiday could mark the first five-day weekend of the year.

Shawwal 3 is expected to fall on Saturday May 15 – however, this will be confirmed by the moon sighting committee.

The holiday for public sector workers will also start on Ramadan 29, which was confirmed by the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources today (Tuesday May 4).
